Soften tablets syrup indication


 Ingredients: Each film-coated tablet of Soften contains 10 mg of loratadine and 5 mg of Loratadine per 5 ml of Soften syrup.


Indication

  Uses Softens (and loratadine tablets and syrups) can also be used to treat seasonal allergies such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy, itchy eyes, and other irritations caused by allergies.


 Contraindications: Patients who are allergic to loratadine should not use this medicine.


 Usual dose:

• Adults and children over 12 years of age:

1 tablet of Soften (loratadine 10 mg) or Soften (loratadine 5 mg per 5 ml) syrup 2 teaspoons (10 ml) daily.

• children 2 years to 12 years of age:

Weight more than 30 kg: 1 tablet of Soften (Loratadine 10 mg) or Soften Loratadine 5 mg per 5 ml syrup 2 teaspoons (10 ml daily)

• Weight 30 kg or less:

Not recommended or use as directed by physician.


 Important instructions: The efficacy and safety of loratadine in pregnant women and lactating mothers have not yet been established, so loratadine should be administered with caution to these patients.


 Common side effects:

Loratadine is a safe drug. Its side effects are very less. Even it does not cause drowsiness. In very few patients, its use may cause headache, fatigue, nausea, and dry mouth.


  Caution: Protect from light, moisture and heat. Store Soften tablets between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius and Soften syrup between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius. Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.


 Presentation: Soften 10 mg tablets are available in a pack of 10 film-coated tablets and Soften syrup 5 mg per 5 ml is available in a 60 ml bottle.
